Hire someone to supervise circ & report to Susan
Hire someone for tech services & report to Susan
Maybe an existing staff member who is qualified could pick up Stephen's ordering responsibilities.
No longer put all the above responsiblities on one individual because if they are sick or on vacation (or resign) there are too many challenges
I don't think Kathy should be in charge of all department s because she does not have the expertise in all areas (for example: tech services).

We need a dedicated circ desk manager -- don't parcel out responsibilities. Circ staff are already busy and some are being pulled off at times for other projects. Turnover and therefore training needs are high. We need more staffing at the desk.
and so obviously I think it would be a good idea to segregate tech services and circulation responsibilities.

Extra responsibilities given to people as a result of Stephen leaving should result in extra pay.

We need a stff member in TSS who just does TSS and not circ also. We could you use a person who is not circ to back up ILLs rather than have circ do this.
